Oculus software to install only the c drive
One small week before the first Oculus Rift VR headsets are delivered to their owners. Slowly the first problems drip in at the Oculus support forums. Developers worry about the fact that games only install on the C:/Program Files (x86)/Oculus folder. Palmer Luckey confirms the problem and explained that it is at the top of their priority list:
Oculus will provide alternative solutions if the problem is still present when the Oculus Rift reaches the first costumers. Let’s just hope it’s not a too complicated fix, consumers expect a flawless product.
