So today the price and launch date of playstation Virtual Reality (psvr) has been announced. now that we have information of all of the virtual reality devices coming out this year we can finally do a quick look at which people might buy and why.
Playstation vr (Psvr) clocks in at 400 bucks and is a playstation only device. Oculus Rift clocks in at 600 and is PC only, on a sealed store for the rift. the HTC Vive Vr being developed by valve is 800 and has its own unique controllers and tracking cameras and is compatible with SteamVR and possibly your existing steam games.
