The Night Cafe3 Walk into a creation that only van Gogh could have inspired. Traveling in this space will take your breath away, and it really expresses what it means to go in a new unbelievable place that wouldn’t be possible without Virtual Reality. Find a quiet moment to visit the Night Cafe, and be sure to stay for the surprise at the end. This is an amazing app that will blow your mind.

The Night CafeControls: I wanted something very simple and intuitive so I went with a minimalist control scheme with just tap to move forward and swipe up or down to crouch or stand. I experimented with touchpad rotation but it seemed to take away from the immersion factor because you no longer had to actually turn your head to look around. I also wanted tThe Night Cafe2o keep some kind of height change ability with crouching because it enables the visitor to get different vantage points — one example is when you crouch down near the window to get a better view of the swirling stars.

Robbert VR has been my passion since the days of the Virtual Boy. As an early adopter, I still treasure my Oculus Rift DK and Palmer Luckey's backers’ letter. Thank you for sharing this journey with me – the site and channel will remain online as a tribute to our shared love for VR and I'll try to post regularly.
