During the games development conference 2016, Sony announced the retail price of the PlayStation VR headset. The headset will cost 399 and the release month is set to October 2016. With the PSVR Son;y targets the general audience instead of the VR enthusiasts. The design of the headset is cheaper and less powerful.

PSVR Specs:

  • 5.7 OLED Screen
  • 1920 x 1080 Resolution
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • 100 degree field of view
  • Less than 18ms latency
