Nimble VR vs LEAP Motion – Skeletal Tracking

Skeletal Tracking gets closer and closer to consumers. There are a lot of ways to do this. One of them is a complex mechanical exoskeleton (like the Dexmo). The advantage of an exoskeleton is that you can feel what you are doing. The drawback is that you are connected to hundreds of wires and complex straps. The other possibility is tracking. Nimble VR recently published a video that shows its own tracking solution in comparison to the Leap Motion. The leap is positioned in its original configuration as being a desktop device as it is meant to be.

Due to the interference between active illumination from the sensors, the LEAP is tracking the left hand, while the Nimble Sense is tracking the right hand.[/symple_testimonial]
