Welcome to my first Elite Dangerous Space Blog. I have this idea for a while so today I present my first CMDR ClassicGamerNL Space blog. This is a story about my adventures with the game Elite Dangerous. You can watch me live on YouTube almost every day around 9 PM.

The journey to the center of the galaxy is long, my Space ship isn´t 100% and my repair unit is almost empty. I start to doubt if this journey will end well for me. So far I found 4 Earth-like planets and thousands gas giants. There isn’t much life in the endless darkness. No planet offer an intelligent life form. It´s so lonely I start to think back of the times I was working as a merchant. My home system Iama Keph is over 10 thousand lightyears away. I miss my trade route and  the tension of getting caught by pirates. Now I’m this far I can’t go back, I have to continue my journey. I traveled two thousand lightyears in the loneliness and stars appear closer to each other. The view is phenomenal. Systems start showing differences as well. Stars are so near to each other that I’ve taken some damage trying to go between them, while I was fuel scooping. Still no signs of any black holes. Also the Earth-like planets are more rare than I expected. The most interesting thing today are the bright blue stars, they seem quite common in this area and are a sight for sore eyes.

I ended my day on a big planet called GRAEA HYPUE LD-Q. This planet has a rocky shell, but is easy to land. Hopefully my next journey will offer more interesting planets. See you in space commanders!

I’m aware that my English isn´t that great. If nobody correct my mistakes I can´t learn from them. So you´re welcome to commend on the spelling and grammatical blunders. 🙂
Robbert VR has been my passion since the days of the Virtual Boy. As an early adopter, I still treasure my Oculus Rift DK and Palmer Luckey's backers’ letter. Thank you for sharing this journey with me – the site and channel will remain online as a tribute to our shared love for VR and I'll try to post regularly.
