In Space Marine Boot Camp, players are put through a mix of intense and tongue-in-cheek training scenarios. After a brief introduction from Sarge A-H01E, you can choose from six different missions.
These range from the spinning chaos of the Human Centrifuge to the tense Target Practice and Chow Time, a memory-based minigame built around sound cues and food. Once you’ve proven yourself, the game opens up the more demanding Search & Destroy mission.
Performance is rewarded in a rather unconventional way. Completing missions with style earns you “puke time” — and the better you perform, the longer it lasts.
The game makes full use of head tracking to navigate menus and control gameplay, while interaction is handled via the spacebar or a gamepad. This setup creates a surprisingly intuitive experience. For those looking to push themselves further, each mission can be completed with bronze, silver, or gold ratings. Perform poorly, and Sarge won’t hesitate to eject you into space.
Overall, the experience leans heavily into its absurd tone, but remains engaging throughout. Expect a total playtime of around 60 to 120 minutes.
