Convrge is a VR social world. Come hang out with friends, make new friends, join us for our weekly events, and create your own virtual communities.
We created Convrge because VR is all we can think about, and the coolest thing about VR is hanging out with other people in VR. The ability to connect and share experiences with people from around the world is incredible. We want to make it easy for anyone to create an online community and hold events with that community no matter where the members are located.
The world currently revolves around one central space, the darkwood forest, where you can find our dance floor, treehouse, theater, and lounge areas. Meet up with friends and philosophize around the campfire, listen to tunes on the dancefloor, or pull up a youtube video or twitch stream in the theater.
There’s also an ability to create private rooms from the start menu if you feel the need for a more exclusive space. We’re currently working on an avatar and environment loading system, but in the meantime if you would like to add your own character or space to the world please email Shawn at shawn@convrge.co
