Today on Lunchtime with my Gear VR I am taking a look at Raising a Rukus. This has got to be one of the coolest 360 animated shorts I have ever seen in VR! The production value on this experience is on par with something you would expect to see in a Pixar film. Raising a Rukus was created by Academy Award winner Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent) and The Virtual Reality Company and it is available for Samsung Gear VR and can also be seen at the IMAX VR Experience Center. All I can say is after watching this I am even more excited now for the future of VR cinema. The only thing that would have made this better would be a bump in the clarity of the video, but this is to be expected with 360 video content at this stage in the game. If you have a Gear VR I highly recommend giving Raising a Rukus a look!

admin As some of you may know, I have been suffering from the aftermath of a traffic accident, a severe case of COVID-19, and a transient ischemic attack (TIA). These events have taken a toll on my physical and mental well-being, and I can no longer keep up with the demands of running a VR website and channel. I want to thank you all for your support and feedback over the years. You have been an amazing community and I have enjoyed sharing my passion for VR and gaming with you. I hope you will continue to enjoy VR and explore its possibilities. I will leave the website and channel online for now, so you can still access the content I have created. However, I will not be posting any new blogs, videos, or news. I hope you understand and respect my choice.
