There are no real 360-degree environments movies for the Oculus Rift yet. Some movies are in development, but they are all computer animated. It is not really possible to edit old movies and remake them 360-degree, but what if we could do it. What movie would you want to watch in the world of virtual reality?
Here are some films, we think, that would be excellent in full 360 degrees.
Gravity

A 360-degree view of Gravity’s orbital drama would be a breathtaking experience.
Jurassic Park

The small demo of Dino Safari gives us an impression of how great dino movies would do with virtual reality. Jurassic Park is amazing in 3D, maybe there are techniques that would make it a bit VR like. That would be an phenomenal experience.
Alien

The original Alien in VR would be terrifying! Alone in space, no one can hear you scream while you’re trapped in your HMD and some crazy ass aliens hunting you down! The bad news is, the original will never be released. But there is also good news! There is a playable Alien video game, for the Oculus Rift! Alien: Isolation is recently released and has support for Oculus Rift DK2! Take out your guns and hunt for some alien flesh yourself!
The Blair Witch Project

Sitting in a 360 tent, hearing bizarre noises around you? Just forget the dreadful screaming and imagine being hunted by the witch… This would take horror to a whole new level!
The Matrix

Wouldn’t it be cool to be in the Matrix yourself? Dodging bullets, fly over the city and fight as a hero? Which pill would you take? The Sony or the OculusVR? There is in fact a small demo that let you experience the Matrix a bit: MatrixVR.
Star Wars

Space films will always do good, but Star Wars is exceptional. It has all the things for VR! Wouldn’t you want to be seated next to Anakin Skywalker while he’s racing his pod?
